1 No. sex should be fun and condoms can help. They come in all different sizes, range of colours, textures, and flavours. You also can get ribbed ones, which can help stimulate you and your partner, making sex more enjoyable. Condoms help make sex safer – not safe. Like most things, sex is not risk free and never has been. Safer sex is healthier sex.
2 Yes, the same way that everyone is different – tall, short, thin, fat – every penis is different and unique. Anyway, its not what you’ve got, its what you do with it that counts.
3 Getting an erection when you are around other boys doesn’t mean your gay. But you may be sexually interested in other men, or even men AND women. It’s not a problem; your body is yours to share with whomever you choose.
4 No, that’s not true. It’s also not true that you won’t get pregnant if you have sex standing up/don’t have orgasm/or bath afterwards.
5 A quick summary:
Love:
Love is a feeling (an emotion) between the 2 people.
There’s no exact “right” definition of love for everybody.
Love involves feelings of romance, attraction.
Sex:
Sex is a physical event or act
There are different types of sex, but all kinds have something in common.
Sex may or may not involve penetration
Sex can happen between a male and a female, between 2 females. between 2 males, between more than 2 people, or by one’s self (masturbation)
OR
For some people sexual feelings are bound up with love and close relationships. Some think sex should only happen within marriage. For some people sex and love are two different things. What is important is that you feel good about yourself and what you are doing, and that you keep yourself safe.
6 No, It can be hard if all your mates are going out with someone and you aren’t, but it doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with you. Different people start having girl/boyfriends at different ages.
7 No, masturbation can help you explore the responses of your own body, and tone yourself up for the joys and pleasures of being a good lover. Masturbation is physically harmless, and is only emotionally damaging if you feel guilty about it.
8 No, if you do not use any contraception you risk getting pregnant. If you don’t want to be a parent you must use contraceptive.
9 It takes time to be a good lover. You need to know your own body first and what pleases you. Find out how many ways you can give yourself pleasure. You need to know your partner and what pleases him or her. You need to feel at ease with each other.
10 The first obvious sign of a man’s arousal is an erection. When arousal reaches a certain point, ejaculation is imminent and a man cannot hold back. During orgasm, there is a rhythmic throbbing of the penis as semen is pumped out.
A woman’s nipples become erect and her breasts swell. The vagina becomes moist. Orgasm occurs when there are intense contractions of the pelvic muscles and uterus. The woman’s body may go into a sort of spasm, she may groan or cry out, and gasp or bit her lip as the sensations flood through her.
Remember everyone is different and having an orgasm should not become the aim of every love making session.
11 You choose who you go out with. If you’re happy with your boy/girlfriend whatever age they are that is all that matters. Remember, if you are 16+ it is against the law to have sex with someone under the age of 16yrs.
12 Yes, if you decide to have sexual intercourse you need to protect yourself from HIV. You will also need to protect against pregnancy.
13 If you think you have been at risk you can have a free blood test, which is available at GPS or Special Clinics.

15 Yes, licking or sucking your partner’s genitals is, in most peoples’ minds, the most intimate thing you can do together in a sexual relationship. There is a risk of infection.
16 Sexuality can be confusing at the best of times and if you’re not sure which sex you’re attracted to, you’re not alone. Discovering your sexuality may take time, and you’re the only one who can decide where your true feelings lie. There are organisations with people who understand what you’re going through, if you want a confidential chat.
